Step by step
Open the bot
Tap Open in Telegram, then Start in the chat with @BgRemoverPhotoBot.
Send the HEIC as a file
Tap 📎 → File and pick the picture. Files up to 20 MB and 40 megapixels work.
Tap “Format”, then “JPG”
Under What should I do with the picture? tap 🔄 Format, then JPG. PNG and WEBP are also offered; ‹ Back returns to the menu.
Save the JPG
The bot sends a JPG file. Open it and save it, or forward it where you need it.

Is it free?
Yes. Format changes count towards the 30 free photo edits a day.
Why does my HEIC photo arrive as JPG already?
If you send a picture as a photo rather than a file, the Telegram app may convert it before sending. Send it as a file to keep the original.
Is the location removed?
Yes. The bot doesn't copy EXIF and XMP metadata, which include GPS location, into the result.
Is my photo stored?
No. It is processed on our server and deleted after the reply. While the menu is open, the bot remembers the Telegram link to your picture for no longer than an hour.
