These terms apply to the HandyBots bots in Telegram and to this website. By using a bot you agree to them. They are short on purpose — please read them.
The service
HandyBots is an independent project: a family of small bots that work inside Telegram. HandyBots is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Telegram.
Free of charge, with daily limits
The bots are free. Most have a free daily limit, shown on each bot's page and in its /help; the limits reset every day. Some bots (games, quizzes, the personality test and the inline toolkit) have no daily limit. We may change limits or features, or stop a bot, at any time.
Your content
- Send only content that you own or have the right to use, and do not use the bots to infringe anyone's rights.
- You keep all rights to what you send and to what the bot makes from it. You allow us to process it only to give you the result.
- Results are made automatically. Check them before you rely on them — for example, a transcript can contain mistakes and an exchange rate is for reference only.
Acceptable use
Do not use the bots to:
- send or create illegal content, including content that sexualises minors, or content that promotes violence;
- harass, threaten, bully or impersonate anyone, or share someone's private information without permission;
- send spam or scams;
- overload, attack, reverse-engineer or get around the limits of the bots.
We may limit or block access for anyone who breaks these terms.
Anonymous questions
Recipients never see who sent a question. To handle abuse, the bot keeps the sender's Telegram ID with the question for a limited time (see the privacy policy). A recipient can block a sender or report a question; after a report, the administrator sees the question text (without the sender) and can stop that sender from asking questions in the bot. Anonymity is not a licence to harass anyone.
Quizzes and the personality test
The “How well do you know me?” quiz and the 16 personality types test are for entertainment only. They are not a psychological assessment or advice — do not use them for decisions about health, work or relationships.
Telegram's rules
The bots work inside Telegram, so you must also follow Telegram's Terms of Service and be allowed to use Telegram.
No warranty
The bots are provided “as is” and “as available”, free of charge, without any warranty. We do our best, but we do not promise that a bot will always be available, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. Keep your own copies of important files.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, HandyBots is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the bots or this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the law of your country.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; if you keep using the bots after a change, the new terms apply.
