About HandyBots

HandyBots is a small independent project that makes free bots for everyday tasks in Telegram — 10 bots on this site, each doing one job well.

Who we are

We build and run the bots ourselves: video to round video note, voice to text, photo to sticker, background removal, photos to PDF, anonymous questions, group games and a few more. Pages are signed as the HandyBots team; we don't publish personal names.

HandyBots is not affiliated with Telegram. The bots work inside Telegram because that is where people already send their photos, videos and voice messages.

This website is in 14 languages. The bots themselves currently reply in English, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian and Hindi; in other languages they use English.

How the bots are built and tested

All bots run on one shared engine, so daily limits, the /privacy command, languages and error messages work the same way everywhere. Files are processed on our own server in the European Union: speech recognition (the open-source Whisper model) and background removal run there too, with no outside services.

  • Every bot has its own automated tests: 1309 test functions for the 10 bots on this site and 2277 for the shared engine (counted in our code on October 29, 2026). We run them when we change a bot.
  • Limits on this site — file sizes, lengths, free amounts per day — are copied from the bots' own settings, not estimated.
  • We don't publish processing times: we haven't measured them in a way we could stand behind, so the pages say “usually within seconds” instead of a number.

Privacy

  • This website has no cookies, analytics or tracking scripts.
  • When you open a bot from this site, the link carries a label with the page's language and topic (for example s_web_en_home). The bot saves it as the source of your first visit — that is how we see which pages help. There is no other tracking.
  • Files you send are processed and deleted after the reply. In every bot, /privacy shows what it stores about you and lets you delete it.

Full details: privacy policy.

How we check facts

  • Numbers about Telegram itself — file sizes, round video length, sticker formats — come only from Telegram's official websites (core.telegram.org and telegram.org), and each one links to its source. When Telegram doesn't publish a number, we say so instead of guessing. See the Telegram limits cheat sheet.
  • Numbers about our bots come from the bots' code and settings.
  • Comparison pages describe Telegram's built-in features only from Telegram's own documentation and announcements, and say plainly when the built-in feature is the better choice.
  • Every page shows when it was last updated; the date changes only when the content of that page changes.
  • All 23 guides say the same facts in every language. Translations are made with machine help and checked against the bots' own texts — if something reads wrong in your language, please tell us.

For a problem with a bot, the quickest way is the bot itself: /help explains how it works, /privacy shows or deletes your data. All guides are here.
