# How to transcribe voice messages to text

## Step by step

1. **Open the bot** —  Tap **Open in Telegram**, then **Start** in the chat with @TranscribeVoiceBot.
2. **Forward a voice message** —  Long-press a voice message or a round video note in any chat → **Forward** → choose the bot. Audio and video files work too.
3. **Read the text** —  The bot replies with the transcript. Copy it or forward it.
4. **Optional: use it in a group** —  Add the bot to a group and make it an admin — it will transcribe voice messages automatically. Without admin rights, reply to a recording with /text.
