# Games for a Telegram group chat

To play games in a group chat, add the free bot @ChatGamesForGroupsBot to the group and have everyone send /reg — then start charades with /croc, a duel with /duel or today's pick with /who. There are no daily limits, and the leaderboard is in /top.

## Step by step

1. **Add the bot to your group** —  Tap **Open in Telegram**, then **Start** in the chat with @ChatGamesForGroupsBot. Tap **➕ Add to group** and choose the group.
2. **Join the games** —  Everyone who wants to play sends /reg in the group. /unreg takes you out of the daily pick; your points stay.
3. **Play charades** —  Send /croc: you become the host. Tap **👀 Show word**, then explain the word without saying it. Others guess by replying to the bot's message that started the round; **🔄 Another word** swaps the word.
4. **Duels and the daily pick** —  Reply to someone's message with /duel to challenge them, or send /duel alone for an open challenge. /who picks today's hero; /top shows the leaderboard.

## Make the bot an admin for charades

Without admin rights Telegram shows the bot only replies to its own messages, so guesses must be replies to the bot's message that started the round. As an admin, the bot also sees guesses written as ordinary messages.
